Se realiza Operativo de Salud Escolar JUNAEB

El Complejo Educacional Andrés Antonio Gorbea fue sede durante tres jornadas para realizar el operativo de salud escolar el cual benefició a 257 estudiantes de la comuna.

Durante las jornadas de trabajo se abarcaron tres áreas de salud; columna, otorrino y oftalmología. La etapa que se llevó a cabo en el establecimiento educacional fue el de Tamizaje en el cual se realiza el trabajo de evaluación por un profesional de la salud. Si el estudiante que fue atendido luego de la evaluación requiere atención de un médico se realiza la derivación a dicho especialista.

Manuel Espinoza, Encargado de Salud Escolar del Departamento de Educación Municipal, comentó “La jornada se desarrolló de forma normal, de acuerdo a las horas que se entregaban para la atención de los estudiantes, los cuales asistían acompañados por el coordinador de su establecimiento y en algunos casos con su apoderado”.
